Final Reflection

First of all, beginning of this course I did not  aware of what action research actually was, even though I was aware of the term. I thought that it is just a new term of research; however as the weeks progressed in this course I realize that action research is a way to solve problems in systematic way. I also learn that “improve student learning by developing and refining the skills of teaching.” (Ringler 2007).According to Dana, “Action research refers to research intended to bring about change of some kind.” We need to do action research in order to bring some change, improvement or make something better in our education field. The lecture was very useful to understand the process and what was expected during action research. Their tips provide us to stay on topic and create a road map for readers to understand research well. Action research course provides us to identify problems and see how to approach problems that we face in our campus.
Second of all, that I have learned another good thing is blogging. I have never had a chance to create blogs before. Sharing your thoughts with everybody in the by using blogs and getting feedback from them is great method that I've learned from this course. It helped me to find the right directions on my research.   I have learn that reading classmates’ blog and getting a lot of experience, different approaches for problems and learning new things from them was so enjoyable and beneficial for me.
In conclusion, I have learned a  lot from this course and I have found this course to be helpful and relevant to my professional career, and it has certainly enriched my professional life. I have increased my knowledge for doing action research as a result of this course.
